The Banús port received more than 4.5 million visitors this summer. The number of visitors who arrived to Puerto Banús slightly surpassed four and a half million people during the last summer season, which is reflected in a balance done by the port authority of the harbour. According to them, the index of occupation of the port has increased by more than 6 percent, due to the number of boats that berth and those that have requested to berth on the wharves, there has been 891 more moorings than in the previous years.
